This is an example for an image Opponent Notes

Poker is all about knowing your opponents, and with Bluff Room, you can keep notes on your opponents so that you will know what you are up against when you play against them again. The notes you take are stored on your computer so that they will be there when you log in again later. Just double click a player's name plate and the notes window will open.

This is an example for an image Statistics

Most of us have a system, even if we don't know it. If you know your system and you need to keep track of how you play, you will need statistics. You can see a quick summary of how many hands you are folding, how often you are seeing the flop, among other things. If you are used to using this tool, you will be glad to know it is here, ready for you.

This is an example for an image Hand History

If you want to review how you played one of the hands you have just played in or watched, just click the Hand History button, and you get a list of recent hands, where you can review how the play went.

For older hands, or for games you have closed, use our statistics window to request hand histories for the last hour, day or week.

This is an example for an image Table Sorting

Our lobby has a lot of unique ways to help you find the table you are looking for, but one that you are probably used to is sorting by different criteria, such as blinds, seats or average pot. You can do this in the traditional way: just click the column heading and the lobby is sorted by that field for you.

This is an example for an image Play Money

Not ready to play with real money? Well, don't worry. We have play money games that are every bit as exciting as the real money games. You get 1000 play money chips, and you can top these up several times in a day, so don't worry too much about losing them.d.

This is an example for an image More Time

Sometimes you just need time to consider your options. When it’s your turn, you can use an extra 60 seconds to think for a bit longer, if you need it. But don't worry; people can't use this to slow the game down: once the 60 seconds is used up, it will not be refilled for a few rounds

This is an example for an image Chat

Poker is about playing against other real people. We all enjoy the banter at a table, and our chat gives the same atmosphere as a real table. Chat bubbles drop beneath the player that spoke, so you can follow conversations. The chat is automatically censored to avoid anyone causing offence, and if someone upsets you, you can block their chat so you never have to listen to them again. Just double click their name plate and click 'Mute Chat'. Only players actually playing can chat, so that your play is not interrupted by casual chatters.

This is an example for an image Multiple Tables

Like most poker rooms, we let you play several tables at once. This is limited to five games, so that you are not playing against anyone that is slowing your game down because they are not concentrating.slowing your game down because they are not concentrating.

This is an example for an image Security

All connections in Bluff Room are over TLS (SSL v3), the internet standard for secure communication. This is the same method that you will use for logging into an internet bank, or buying from an on-line store. This level of encryption will stop people from listening in on your communications. Our shuffle uses a Mersenne-Twister PRNG with a seed of 4992 bytes. This can perform all 52! Permutations of a deck shuffle, so that cards cannot be predicted on the basis of cards already dealt. Further to this, the seed is periodically modified with truly random entropy from several sources, including data sent from member usage patterns.

This is an example for an image Mac & Linux

Bluff Room works exactly the same on Linux and Mac OS X as it does on Windows, opening up secure on-line poker to everyone. That does not mean we are excluding the computer elite that use one of the BSDs or even Solaris, because the Bluff Room room is written using Java(TM), so it will run on most operating systems.

This is an example for an image Friend Referrals

know someone that you would want to have in your contact list, but they are not on Bluff Room? Then use the 'Refer a Friend' button. This will send your friend an email, inviting them to join, on your behalf. You get 20 percent of every cent they contribute to rakes, or pay in tournament fees. So you are doing them a favour by recommending a great poker room, while doing yourself a favour by getting referral money. You can easily see the money you have made from
referrals by looking in the Account window. You do not need to sign up to any schemes or commit to anything to get this money. It is yours to keep.

This is an example for an image Feedback

Poker is a people game. At the top right of all major windows is a 'Feedback' button. We invite you to send any thoughts, comments, sentiments and even criticisms to us through this window. You are the people that make Bluff Room. We are listening.

This is an example for an image Best Hand Definition

Beginners may find it hard to tell what their best hand is, particularly in complicated games like Omaha. As an option, we will show your best hand in the bottom left of the game window. We will even tell you what you would have had when you have folded (even if you might not want to hear it!). If a hand you folded in a river game goes to showdown, you will be told what hand would be made with the visible river cards and the cards you folded.

This is an example for an image Poker Face

At a real table, you get to read the faces of the people you are playing against. We wanted to recreate this element of the game, but the restrictions of computer technology at the moment prevent us from being able to point a camera at members' faces. So we have given you a chance to express your emotions quickly and easily, with the Poker Face smiles. You can select the face you want to show by clicking on the drop down face. You can use these faces to bluff or reverse bluff your opponents.

This is an example for an image Always At The Head

When you are playing more than one table, it can be quite confusing to be sat in different positions on each one. As the most important person at your table, we think you should be at the head. So you're always the player at the bottom of the screen, saving confusion. You can still pick the seat that you want – we all know how important position is, but once seated, the table will rotate to put you at the head.

This is an example for an image Active Games Window

Again when playing more than one table, you need to have your eye on what is happening in each game. We offer you the 'Game Lister': this is the bar on the bottom left of each window. It tells you what cards you have on each table and alerts you with a flash when it is your turn. You can switch between tables by just clicking on that table in the Game Lister.

This is an example for an image Contacts

You know who you like, and who you want to play against (even if you don't like them!). With Bluff Room, you have a contact list of friends that you can invite to games and tournaments. You can also find which games they are currently playing in with the 'Contacts and Search' button. Just double click a friend from your contact list and it will tell you their current games. Double click a game and, voila! The game opens.

This is an example for an image Safety Features

Sometimes we all think we should have more control over what we spend in life, besides just will power. You may not have a problem with gambling, but still not trust yourself. That is why we have added some safety features that can be found under the Account window. You can exclude yourself for a week if you think you need a bit of time away from poker. Once you do this, you cannot log in for a week, try as you like. You can set yourself a monthly buy in limit. This means that within a month, if you are tempted to go just a little bit over your budget, we will not let you. And last, but certainly not least, you can have someone you trust set a password that is needed to buy chips. So you can play poker with the money in your account using your normal password, but to buy more chips, you need to have this trusted person enter their 'Partner Password' to allow you to spend more. At Bluff Room, we take the issue of problem gambling very seriously. We want all our members to be happy and have fun, and you cannot do that if you are worried about losing money you need. If you think you have a gambling problem, we suggest you seek professional advice.

This is an example for an image Game and Tournament Creation

What if the game you want is just not available? Well, simple: you can create it. You can create games with your choice of blinds, limit and seats. Call it what you want, and if you like: set a password and invite friends so that only people you know can play at it. The same goes.
