| The extrusion process means that synthetic materials are continuously pressed by a special forming tool, the parts taking shape by the cross-section of the tool where the length can be pre-determined. The possible production tolerances are no more than ± 0.05 mm. At first, the synthetic material is melted and homogenized by an extruder by means of heating and inner friction. Furthermore, we build up the necessary pressure to make the synthetic material flow through the tool. The synthetic material stiffens after entering a water-cooled calibration. By means of extrusion, we can constantly produce pipes and profiles above the crosscut length. Plastic containers, such as bottles, doses or fuel tanks are also produces by means of extrusion. Furthermore, imprints/press cuts as well as Hart-soft combinations, like e.g. lip seals can be made by means of 2-component Co-extrusion. Products of the Extrusion technique can also be found in the following application areas: - Building construction and civil engineering - Motor industry - Aerospace industry - Medical engineering - Furniture industry - Packaging industry - Trade fair construction High-precision and reliable tools are indispensable in the production of profiles. Sequo Plastic has long-lasting experience in the production of extrusion tools, as well as in the production of small and medium lot sizes. A particular strength of Sequo Plastic is the making of quality tools for simple as well as demanding profile geometries at amazingly low costs. Our unchallenged prices for new products are highly appreciated by our customers who are in constant need of new tools.
