Welcome to the most comprehensive portal of West Bengal Civil Society. This portal is an endeavour of West Bengal Civil Society Support Programme (WBCSSP), which aims to support a variety of civil society organizations in their work to influence the governance processes towards poverty reduction in the state. The portal is an initiative to provide a one window platform for the civil society to engage among various players, to retrieve relevant information on NGOs, Academia, media, community based organizations, government policy, and to get linked with similar such endeavours throughout the country and world.

The portal is being initially launched in English, followed by a Bangla version as well in near future. The portal invites you not only to become a member and download your requirement, but also to become member of its various segments and upload relevant information and data.

A special segment of the portal is Solution Search. This is a web based debate and dialogue platform where the members are encouraged to engage with their queries and thoughts. This is especially for those of you wanting to engage with others with serious discussions on issues selected by you.

The portal has two kinds of membership. One is the membership of the site which is free and open to all, the second is membership of its various segments that are free but moderator driven.
